Will you be staying with us during Thanksgiving Week? If so, we hope that you will join us for the Royal Resorts Foundation Art Auction on November 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Gran Salon at Hacienda Sisal.
The Royal Resorts Foundation will be auctioning paintings by 22 Royal Resorts employees who attended an art course at The Royal Sands earlier this year.
The art will be sold to the highest bidder and all proceeds will go to the Employee Emergency Relief Fund to help staff and their families facing serious illness, major surgery or costly long-term medical treatment.
Through the Employee Emergency Relief Fund, the Royal Resorts Foundation has been able to support families as they cope with health problems including cancer, heart surgery, kidney transplants and spina bifida. It has also provided financial aid for cornea, cataract and knee operations and is supporting several staff with children who need hearing aids and speech therapy or physiotherapy.
As you can see it really is Art for a Good Cause. Join us in bidding for the pictures on November 26, the higher the winning bid, the more people you will be helping in times of crisis. And you’ll have a unique Cancun souvenir, a memento of your Royal Resorts family.
For The Royal Haciendas members, there will be a second auction at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 29.
