In recognition of the high standards of food storage, preparation and hygiene in its restaurant kitchens, The Royal Haciendas received the prestigious Distintivo H plaque during an event attended by Secretary of Tourism Claudia Ruiz Massieu at the Tianguis Turístico travel fair in Cancún on May 9.

The Distintivo H is a seal of approval awarded by the Mexican Tourism Board and restaurant and resort kitchens have to undergo a rigorous inspection process in order to achieve certification.

All the resort restaurants and kitchens and Captain’s Cove and Hacienda Sisal are now Distintivo H certified.
