On June 20, inspectors visited Grand Residences to tour the restaurants, kitchens and food storage facilities as part of the Distintivo H verification process. The Distintivo H is a seal of approval awarded by the Mexican Tourism Board and the Ministry of Health for excellence in food preparation and kitchen hygiene. After the five-hour inspection they awarded the resort a score of 96.58 percent.
