Whether you are dipping your toes in the clear, warm sea or enjoying an early morning swim in the lap pool, the water’s always lovely at Royal Resorts. Come on down!
Caribbean colors
Gazing out at the sparkling turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean will soon put you in the mood for a swim or a spot of snorkeling, but there are more activities in store right here in your resort. In Cancun you can board a sail boat or kayak and try your hand at paddle boarding. Kayaks are also available at The Royal Haciendas in the Riviera Maya.
Pool pastimes
After your early morning swim, relax on the deck at one of our beautiful pools with your favorite tropical cocktail. There are more keep fit activities with aqua aerobics and stretching and don’t miss team sports like pool volleyball and water polo.
Family fun
Spend a couple of hours with the children at The Royal Sands Aqua Park where there are slides and tunnels for adults and teens and a separate play area for smaller children.
At The Royal Haciendas, children have their own Aqua playground in Phase 1, and all the resorts have kiddie pools.
Dive deep
If the sight of several different multicolored fish makes you eager to see more, visit the Thomas More Travel desk to book a snorkeling trip, scuba diving or even a resort course to learn how to dive and start exploring the wonders of the Mesoamerican Reef. There are coral reefs in the bay between Cancun and Isla Mujeres, off Punta Nizuc, the southernmost point of Cancun island, in the Puerto Morelos National Park, and along the Riviera Maya coast in the Playa del Carmen area, at Akumal, and girdling the leeward coast of the island of Cozumel, one of the world’s top scuba spots.
