Top of the list in late October will be a savory dish called mucbipollo, a baked tamale filled with stewed chicken that is a staple of Hanal Pixan, the Yucatan’s Dia de Muertos and pan de muerto, the delicately orange-flavored sweet bread that is a traditional offering on Day of the Dead altars all over Mexico.
