Cool Cocktails

You have been asking for it, well this is the moment we let you into the secret of the Banana Monkey, the favorite cocktail at Royal Resorts.

1 ½ oz coffee liqueur

½ oz chocolate cream liqueur

1 oz coconut cream

2 oz Carnation milk

Half a banana

Blend and serve in a large cocktail glass

Of course, it won’t taste quite the same as if you were sitting by the pool at your favorite resort, but it will get you in the mood for your next vacation. Why not prepare some for your friends?

Of course if you have your own favorite Royal cocktail and Happy Hour spot at the resorts, or a recipe that you would like to share, we would love to hear about it.

Thanks for the Banana Monkey recipe. I would love to have more of the drink recipes and the Black Bean Soup and the Chicken Lime Soup recipes also. Ever considered compiling a cook book of Royal Resort recipes?

Hi – I just got back from the Royal Sands while staying with my brother who is a member. He introduced me to the Tropicana and we spent many happy hours either on the beach or in the Char Hut enjoying this drink as well as the Banana Monkey. Any chance of sharing the secret recipe for the Topicana? Thanks for having such a beautiful resort!

Thanks for the recipe, we had a wonderful time drinking them a couple weeks ago. Would you please send the non-alcohol version, my 2 1/2 year old son loved them and has been asking for his “Monkey Milk”. I assume chocolate syrup instead of the liqueur but wanted to check. Thanks you!
