The Mexican Caribbean is preparing for a gradual reopening to welcome summer visitors. Subject to the government lifting the ban on non-essential activities, many hotels have announced their intention to reopen in June.
A number of airlines including Air Canada, Air Transat, Southwest, Delta, Sunwing, Copa Airlines and Aeromexico have indicated that they intend to resume flights in June.
The Xcaret Group also announced that it plans to reopen three of its parks: Xcaret, Xel-Ha and Xplor in June.
