Make your next vacation a Royal Resorts golf getaway. Test your game and enjoy the fresh air with a round at one of these prestigious courses in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. They offer you special green fees and a tournament during the week.

Playa Mujeres

Greg Norman also designed the par-72, 7,218-yard Playa Mujeres course, 20 minutes to the north of Cancún. Four holes overlook the Caribbean and others have views of Chacmochchuc Lagoon.

Puerto Cancun

Designed by Tom Weiskopf, Cancún’s newest course stretches for 7,241 yards between the bay and Puerto Cancun marina. Holes 15 and 16 overlook the beach and Hole 18 is the most challenging. Marina Town Center mall is nearby.

El Camaleon Mayakoba

Designed by Greg Norman, this 7,024-yard par 72 Riviera Maya course has a jungle and mangrove setting with cenotes, canals, rock outcrops and beach views. In November it hosts the Mayakoba Classic PGA Tournament.

Gran Coyote

Designed by Nick Price, Gran Coyote (formerly Grand Coral) is located behind The Royal Haciendas in CoraSol, Riviera Maya. This 7,050-yard course has challenging bunkers and water features. Hole 7 is the most difficult one to play.

Wildlife watching

During your round keep a lookout for some of the local wildlife. You may see families of coatimundis or tejones, white-tail deer, spider monkeys, raccoons, parrots, iguanas and the occasional crocodile basking in the sun.
