Here’s the latest news from The Royal Haciendas, our Riviera Maya resort, an update on renovation progress and a new restaurant in the works.
A new look for villa sofas and chairs
The villa upholstery project continues and 150 villas now have reupholstered sofas and chairs and new curtains and cushions in the same color scheme. The total of completed villas will reach 182 in November and the remaining 70 will be finished in 2020.
Repaving the pool decks
Work is now underway on the Phase 2 pool deck to replace the tiles with concrete floors with a pebble finish. The original tiles are no longer available and this new surface is cooler and more porous, meaning that rainwater drains away more quickly.
Members Lounge
The new Members Lounge for The Royal Haciendas members will be completed by December.
New Asian Restaurant
We are excited to share the news that The Royal Haciendas members and guests will have another restaurant to enjoy by the end of the year. The new eatery will be located in the lobby area and will serve Asian cuisine.
