Important News About Guest Elevators

Dear Member,

In order to keep the resort installations at the highest standards for the benefit of all our members, we would like to inform you of our plans to upgrade the electrical systems, cabin renovation, engine and cable replacement for the guest elevators at The Royal Islander, building 1 and The Royal Sands, buildings A and I:

The Advisory Councils approved this complete overhaul and it will take an estimated five weeks for completion. Work will begin during maintenance week at each resort and will continue for the following four weeks. During this time:

  • The elevator in Building “1” at The Royal Islander will be out of service for weeks 37 through 40, 2016, and
  • the elevators in Buildings “A” and “I” at The Royal Sands will be out of service for weeks 41 through 44, 2016.

All other guest and service elevators will be operating normally, unless an unforeseen technical failure occurs.

A fin de mantener las instalaciones de los resorts bajo los estándares de calidad más altos para el beneficio de todos nuestros socios, nos gustaría informarle de nuestros planes para mejorar los sistemas eléctricos, renovar las cabinas y reemplazar los motores y cables de los elevadores para huéspedes de The Royal Islander, edificio 1 y The Royal Sands, edificios A y I:

Los Consejos Consultivos aprobaron esta revisión completa y llevará un estimado de cinco semanas para terminarse. Los trabajos comenzarán durante la semana de mantenimiento de cada resort y continuará durante las cuatro semanas siguientes. Durante este tiempo:

  • El elevador del edificio “1” en The Royal Islander estará fuera de servicio durante las semanas 37 a 40 de 2016.
  • Los elevadores de los edificios “A” y “I” en The Royal Sands estarán fuera de servicio durante las semanas 41 a 44 de 2016.
