Love Sisal… The Flan, cherro’s (sp), key lime pie, chocolate cake, banana’s foster… Dinner is the bomb too but I’m addicted to the Flan.

We have gone to both shows at Sisal for the past 4 years. This past time was our first disappointment. We missed the show not being on the dance floor. The Mayan and Aztec dancers were not part of the show. The show being on the stage made it much less personal.

Love the wait staff and service. The food is exceptional. We will continue eating in the restaurant but may not return to the show.

Dear P. Fine: Thank you for writing to Royal Resorts News. First of all, thank you for your generous comments about the food and service at Hacienda Sisal. I forwarded them to the Restaurant Manager. With regard to your observations about the Mexican Show, we are sorry that you did not enjoy it as much as in previous years. The decision was taken to move the show to the stage which has been expanded in order to give the dancers more room and also to ensure that all diners have a better view, regardless of where their table is located.
The Mexican Show has seen some changes, different but just as spectacular dances have been incorporated from all over the country, including the states of Jalisco, Veracruz, Guerrero, Michoacan, Chiapas and Yucatan, and a mariachi serenade. During the winter season, an additional Pre-Hispanic Show will now be offered featuring Mayan and Aztec dances. I believe that this is probably the reason for the absence of the ancient Mayan rituals from the show you saw.
We hope that you will continue to visit Hacienda Sisal and that you will decide to take in the shows. We look forward to seeing you there.
