As the summer temperatures rise in the Mexican Caribbean, there is only one place to be, the water. Thomas More Travel has plenty of options for a refreshing dip and a day of watery fun for the whole family. Here are some ideas to get you started.<\/p>\n

\"Aqua<\/p>\n

Aqua Nick<\/h3>\n

With exciting slides, lazy rivers and water play areas, this huge water park by Nickelodeon\u2122 is fun for all ages. Your children will meet some of their favorite cartoon characters too, such as Sponge Bob and the Ninja Mutant Turtles.<\/p>\n

Jungala<\/h3>\n

An oasis deep in the Riviera Maya jungle, this water park offers slides and tunnels, play areas and there are pools to relax in, with your own private caba\u00f1a and concierge service.<\/p>\n

\"Caleta<\/p>\n

Xel-Ha<\/h3>\n

Spending the day at Xel-Ha Park gets the thumbs up for snorkeling and splash time. This chain of turquoise inlets, lagoons and cenotes is a snorkeling paradise offering face-to-face encounters with a variety of reef fish \u2013 90 species have been identified in the lagoon.<\/p>\n

Snorkeling aside, there are plenty of other fun activities on offer like zip lining, giant inner tubes for floating across the lagoon, leaping off the cliff of courage into a cenote, nature walks and more.<\/p>\n

For a panoramic view of the park\u2019s inlets and cenotes and the Riviera Maya coast stretching into the distance, climb the lookout tower. Parkgoers will soon discover that the quickest way down from the tower is the huge water slide.<\/p>\n

\"El<\/p>\n

El Garrafon<\/h3>\n

Head to Isla Mujeres for a day at El Garrafon Park on Punta Sur and take in the dramatic views of the rocky headland and the sparkling waters of the Caribbean. Go snorkeling on the offshore reef and marvel at the shoals of silvery fish that surround you. Try your hand at kayaking and even take a thrilling zip lining ride. After all that activity there are hammocks for enjoying the view and the cooling Caribbean breeze. During the day, board the rotating tower for even more spectacular seascapes and beach views.<\/p>\n

The Royal Garrafon tour takes you to the park and includes time to visit other parts of the island. Additional charges apply for zip lining and some other on-site activities.<\/p>\n
