Based on the program, he attended 48 physical therapy sessions; six hydrotherapy sessions; 17 Teleton workshops to help him learn new skills and discover his talents, seven occupational therapy sessions to help him with everyday life, six speech therapy classes and had two appointments with the pediatrician and nutritionist. He also had four occupational therapy workshops to help him improve the skills he needs for daily life. Susan had an appointment with the pediatrician and she and her family also met with the psychologist seven times for counselling to help them as they come to terms with Susan\u2019s medical condition.<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-70263\" src=\"https:\/\/www.royalresorts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/andrew.jpg\" alt=\"Andrew\" width=\"845\" height=\"567\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.royalresorts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/andrew.jpg 845w, https:\/\/www.royalresorts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/andrew-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.royalresorts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/andrew-768x515.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.royalresorts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/andrew-705x473.jpg 705w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 845px) 100vw, 845px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>Andrew<\/h3>\n<p>Andrew had eight sessions with his rehabilitation doctor who then planned the next stage of his treatment, which included 33 physical therapy sessions, 12 for hydrotherapy, 16 appointments with other specialists (psychologist, psychiatrist, pediatrician and other doctors), 10 Teleton workshops to help learn new skills and discover talents. \u00a0He also attended 15 speech therapy sessions to help improve his communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Fundacion Teleton helped 147,844 patients throughout the country including 35,072 children who received therapy at 22 rehabilitation centers and 688 at two hospitals offering specialist care to children with autism and cancer.<\/p>\n<p>We thank you for supporting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.royalresorts.com\/foundation\">Royal Resorts Foundation\u2019s<\/a> causes.
