In order to speed up passport control for passengers arriving at Cancun Airport, 40 kiosks have been installed in the Immigration Hall for automatic registration. Mexico City International Airport also has 40 and there are 20 at Los Cabos Airport.<\/p>\n
The kiosks are for the use of Mexican passengers and international visitors arriving on flights from countries with a visa waiver for travel to Mexico. Utilizing biometric data such as fingerprints and passport information, they are expected to boost the capacity of each Immigration agent to process visitors by as much as four times.<\/p>\n
