In 2014, 17.4 million international and domestic passengers used the airport, a 9.35 percent increase on 2013.<\/p>\n<p>In other airport news, the Mexican Immigration Institute has announced that it will be adding more personnel and booths to the Immigration Area in Cancun and Mexico City airports in order to speed up the entry process for arriving passengers.
