On December 7, 2013 Royal Resorts opened the doors to its newest and highly anticipated property, Grand Residences by Royal Resorts\u00ae. As the first ever Private Residence Club to join the ranks of the esteemed Leading Hotels of the World\u00ae collection, this exclusive hideaway re-defines luxury beachfront living in the Mexican Caribbean\u2019s newest destination: Puerto Morelos, Riviera Cancun, a tranquil community comfortably set between scenic Riviera Maya and bustling Cancun.

\nGrand Residences welcomed its first owners and guests with a private dinner hosted on Sunday, December 8. The dinner showcased a special fixed menu prepared by Grand Residences\u2019 executive chef Yann Michel Cozic from France. Chef Cozic trained at the famous \u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure de Cuisine Fran\u00e7aise Ferrandi in Paris and moved to Mexico City in 2005, where he worked for the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel. Prior to joining Grand Residences, he was the Executive Chef at the famous Au Pied de Cochon restaurant. The menu he prepared for the evening featured exquisite dishes such as eggplant cannelloni with tomato and mozzarella confit and basil pesto, filet Perigourdine with Portobello mushrooms, and wild berry trifle. Owners and guests were hosted by the Grand Residences team led by Mr. Carlo Bicaci, the newly appointed General Manager, and by members of the Royal Resorts Executive team.
