The Teppanyaki show cooking experience always draws diners and Aora has special tables where guests can watch the talented chefs show off their knife skills as they prepare this popular dish. The teppanyaki evening also includes a maki and uramaki tasting, sunomono salad and miso soup, your choice of teppanyaki with vegetables and rice and a dessert.
Aora is open daily from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations required.
Miamare®, the resort’s Italian restaurant, is also set to open soon by the end of September and will be followed by Alea® Spa and the gym.
Music and moonlight at the Star Bar
If you are staying at Royal Uno, be sure to visit Star Bar, the cool rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the pool deck and the Caribbean. Signature cocktails or a glass of bubbly, music and tasty canapes inspired by Nikkei-Caribbean flavors, and chic décor featuring comfy chairs, sun loungers and Bali beds, pergolas, shallow pools and incredible vistas make this the place to be for couples and groups of friends.
During the day, gaze out at our Caribbean blues, dangle your feet in the pool and let the Star Bar waiters pamper you with your favorite drinks as you unwind, lulled by the soft breeze and the sound of the waves in the distance.
In the evening, soft lighting transforms Star Bar into a truly romantic setting. Gaze up at the stars and see the moon rise over the Caribbean as you order cocktails from the mixology menu. There is lounge music to set the mood and later in the evening the pace picks up with DJ Nights during the week and even a Silent Party with a choice of music from two DJ’s playlists to listen to on your own headphones.
