The Royal Islander, the fourth jewel in the Royal Resorts' crown, was completed in 1996. Like all of our resorts, The Royal Islander has been awarded Five Star Interval International status. The spacious, tastefully decorated villas are ideal to share with family and friends. Guests staying at The Royal Islander can enjoy the amenities of the neighboring Royal Caribbean and Royal Mayan as well as those of Club Internacional and The Royal Sands.

The Royal Islander is located on the highest point of Cancun island and has spectacular views of the Caribbean and of the Nichupte lagoon.

Our 1448 sq. foot villas (Interior space 1,216ft2 and Terrace & Balcony 232 ft2) are designed with your comfort in mind. They are fully equipped and tastefully decorated. You will find everything from dinnerware to a dishwasher... from a corkscrew for your wine to a blender to create your own tropical delights.

Our poolside garden restaurant awaits you. This is the place for a hearty breakfast and the lunch menu features tasty appetizers, sandwiches and salads. Evening dishes have a seafood accent, there is a pasta bar and lighter dinner dishes are also available.

A Royal Tip
Opened in 1977, Club Internacional de Cancun was the first Royal Resort and one of Cancun's pioneer resorts.
