Elegance in a splendid natural setting, inspired by the grand old haciendas of the Yucatán.
The Royal Haciendas is the latest resort in the Royal Resorts collection. Nestled on a beautiful beach at the heart of the Riviera Maya, just five minutes to the north of district capital, Playa del Carmen, and 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport, The Royal Haciendas offers luxury and comfort in a splendid natural setting.
With its classic arches, columns, terraces, fountains and gardens, the low-rise architecture at The Royal Haciendas is inspired by the grand old haciendas or estates of the Yucatan which prospered from the cultivation of a native agave plant called henequen or sisal in the late 19th century and the first two decades of the 20th century.
The Royal Haciendas opened on July 1, 2006 with 55 beautifully appointed two-bedroom, two bathroom villas with spectacular ocean views. Phase II of the resort was inaugurated on June 30, 2007 with a further 71 villas.

The Royal Haciendas opened in 2006 and currently has 126 villas and a range of five-star resort services. A further 55 villas and two additional swimming pools will be inaugurated this June. Construction of a fourth phase of villas is also taking place in a different area of the grounds and does not affect existing resort operations. Activities at The Royal Haciendas

The Royal Haciendas Activity Team has a daily program of games, sports and other fun events lined up for you and your children. They include yoga, snorkeling, volleyball and Spanish and Latin dance classes for adults and beach games, sand castle building and craft activities for children. The Activity Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. |
