La Palapa

With its thatched roof, tropical ambiance and friendly service, this open-air eatery is a favorite with members and guests staying at The Royal Mayan, The Royal Caribbean and The Royal Islander.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, La Palapa features International favorites such as hamburgers and sandwiches and mouthwatering Mexican specialties including fish and shrimp tacos and Yucatecan lime soup.

The pool bar is a popular Happy Hour spot and the bartenders are famous for their Caribbean cocktails.

Saturday: Caribbean Lobster Festival
Monday: Mexican Night featuring a Buffet & Folk Dance Show
Thursday: Poolside BBQ Cookout
Friday: Fajita Night

El Conquistador

Cancun's best kept secret, voted number one by members and guests, this intimate little restaurant is an enchanting spot for a romantic candlelit dinner. The menu features French, Italian and International specialties, seafood and prime Angus steaks. Tableside flambées are a house specialty, there is an Early Bird Special for those who like an early evening meal, and for an unforgettable dining experience don't miss Prime Rib Night.

There is live guitar music every evening except Saturday. The restaurant is open from 5 - 10 p.m. (closed Saturdays) and reservations are required.
