The annual Elizabeth Norman Sutton Memorial Golf Tournament honors the memory of Elizabeth Sutton, beloved wife of Richard Sutton, one of the developers of Royal Resorts. Mrs. Sutton passed away in August 1998. An avid golfer, she played regularly for many years preceding her untimely death. The June tournament falls in her birth month, and honors the vitality and spirit of a lady who enjoyed the game of golf as much as she enjoyed her life and friends in Cancun.

Designed by the Aoki Corporation, this par-72, 6,735-yard course is located on the shores of the Nichupté lagoon next to El Rey, the largest archaeological site in Cancun. The surrounding jungle and mangroves are rich in wildlife: blue and white heron, ibis, osprey, iguanas and even crocodiles can often be observed.
Special Royal Resorts rate: $135 US p/p for 18 holes, $110 US p/p for 9 holes. Royal Twilight $100 US p/p (for the holes you can play from 2 p.m. until twilight). Rates valid until April 2008.

Formerly known as Pok-ta-Pok, this challenging course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and incorporates stunning vistas of the Caribbean, the Nichupte Lagoon and tiny Mayan ruins.

Royal Resorts Shuttle
Please be advised that as of May 17, 2008 the shuttle service to Pok-ta-Pok Golf Club will be suspended. We recommend that you make your transport arrangements in advance if you are going to play golf. We apologize for any inconvenience that this change may cause.

This new course was designed by Greg Norman and is located 20 minutes to the north of Cancun.

Rates for play are: Morning play: $213 US; twilight (after 12:30 p.m.) $154 US. Rates are plus 10% tax and include the use of a shared golf cart, the use of practice facilities and bottled water.

This P.B. Dye-designed golf course in the Riviera Maya offers Royal Resorts members and guests a special green fee which includes round trip transport from Royal Resorts or The Royal Haciendas to Playa Paraiso, food and beverages (from 10 a.m.), a shared golf cart and taxes. The range fee is not included.
$125 US for morning play Twilight rate $90 US (after 3 p.m., transport not provided).
Royal Resorts pick up times: 7:30 a.m. at Club Internacional de Cancun, 7:45 a.m. at The Royal Sands & Spa and 8 a.m. at The Royal Caribbean.
